Pine bolete
Brown birch bolete is fairly common and seen in many different locations, always near birch. Orange birch bolete stands out beautifully and is often found in small groups between June and October. Pine birch bolete grows with pine and occasionally with spruce. All birch boletes are edible after thorough cooking.
